Raphael Akinsete is a successful entrepreneur, business mogul, hedge fund manager,  CEO and founder of TMR Capital Group as well as other organizations. He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and Management. He then went on to Stevens Institute of Technology where he acquired a Master's degree in Financial Engineering and certificate in Financial Risk Management.

He landed a job on Wall Street as an equity trader after which he gained experience to work at an energy trading organization. Here, he broke several trading profit records and built a multimillion dollar real estate empire in his spare time, which unbeknownst to the organization, generated substantially more income than his day job. In just 4 years, he became financially free under the age of 30, quit his job, grew his businesses further and started new ones. One of which is TMR Capital Group; a New Jersey based Hedge Fund aiming to help everyday people invest in their future and gain financial independence so they too one day have the option to leave their job and pursue their passions.
